How to connect Google Home with Keecker?

You can connect Google Home with Keecker. This will allow you to directly order Keecker from your assistant.

How to connect Google Home with Keecker?

There are two ways to do this:

1) With Google Home or Google Home Mini

  • Talk directly to Google Home and say "Ok Google, ask Keecker to turn on the projector".
  • You will then receive a notification on your smartphone (which is linked to your Google Home). This notification explains that Keecker is not connected with Google Home (see photo below).
  • Then click on "Associate".
  • In the window that opens, you are asked for a login and a password. You must enter the username and password you used on the Keecker application (see photo below).
  • Once filled in, a confirmation page opens. 
  • You can then command Keecker using your Google Home ("Ok Google, ask Keecker to...").

2) With the Google Assistant application on your smartphone

  • Open Google Assistant on your smartphone.
  • Say "Talk to Keecker" to the application or write "Talk to Keecker" directly into the application.
  • You can then associate Keecker with Google Home directly in the Google Assistant application. Click on "Associate" (see photo below).
  • In the window that opens, you are asked for a login and a password. You must enter the username and password you used on the Keecker application (see photo below).
  • Once filled in, a confirmation page opens. 
  • You can then command Keecker using your Google Assistant ("Ok Google, ask Keecker to...").

Which voice commands are available with Google Home?
 
Each command must be preceded by "Ok Google, ask Keecker to...".
 
Here are the available commands: 
 
Rooms/spots:
  • go to <room>
  • go to <spot> in <room>
  • what are the spots / list the spots
  • what are the rooms / list the rooms
  • what are the spots in the <room> / list the spots in the <room>
Applications/content:
  • launch <application>
  • list the applications / what applications are available
  • play <content name> on <application name> (in <room name>*) (*the room name is optional). Example: "Ask Keecker to play Rihanna on YouTube in the kitchen"
Projector:
  • turn the projector on/off
  • project on the wall/roof/ceiling
Sound:
  • mute the sound / mute / set volume to zero
  • turn the sound off/on
  • turn the volume up/down
Other:
  • align to the wall
  • show off
  • stop moving
  • take a picture
